La lueur de l'aube, launched in 2008, is a brand of fine, delicate, high-end designer jewelry aimed primarily at women. founded by makiko akiyama, a japanese jewellery designer. a graduate of one of japan's leading art universities (musashino art university), and with experience working for major jewellery brands in tokyo, the designer finally set her sights on the french capital to launch her unique jewelry brand. in 2016, the parisian jewelry designer set up shop in a charming boutique workshop in paris's 6th arrondissement.

all jewelry is entirely handmade in france by your artisan jeweller in the workshop-boutique on rue du cherche-midi in the 6th arrondissement in paris. the jewellery store offers jewelry in 18k gold, silver and gold-plated. the jewelry workshop is located at the back of the store. the designer uses traditional processes and techniques to make the jewelry. she also offers custom-made jewelry.
