ALL JEWELRY IS DESIGNED DIRECTLY ON SITE, IN THE WORKSHOP AT THE BACK OF THE STORE.THE ARTISAN JEWELRY STORE IS LOCATED AT 77 RUE DU CHERCHE-MIDI IN PARIS 6TH ARRONDISSEMENT (MORE INFORMATION HERE).

 
 

How is your jewelry made?

  • The first step in the jewelry-making process is to produce the designer's design and specifications.

  • The artisan jeweler then makes a wax prototype of the piece.

 
 

  • The wax pattern is used to make a silicone mold. Wax is injected into the mold to produce models for casting.

  • Casting: wax models are placed in a plaster cylinder. The gold or silver is heated to a very high temperature, then poured into the cylinder. The metal takes on the shape of the models.Once the raw pieces have been cast, the jeweler reworks them: filing, adjusting, etc.

  • The craftsman then sets the jewels.

  • The final stage is polishing. The artisan jeweler uses special tools to smooth and polish the jewelry by abrasion.
